Healing Traditions of the Amazon

Study in the exotic Amazon, within the primal depths of the Peruvian rainforest!

From December 27, 2010-January 6, 2011, the Winona State University Outreach and Continuing Education Department offers the chance of a lifetime to experience and learn traditional healing methods from local indigenous healers. Amidst the stunning tropical setting, this Amazonian Healing Traditions and Plant Medicines course will explore the role of spirituality in healing and how global healing traditions have significantly impacted the world of western medicine.

Open to all interested Adult Learners (you do not have to be a student at WSU, nor a healthcare professional to join us!)
